I pay the shipping, nothing extra (except the $65) on this Warrick County, Indiana, Early Archaic Bevel--or Lost Lake, call it whichever you feel more comfortable with. Made of Indiana Harrison County Hornstone, only a fraction under 3" by 1&1/4", thickness tops out at 5/16". There is a "Bullseye" on the upper blade, courtesy of the center-of-nodule inclusion in the Hornstone flint 'spall'. Both faces are relatively flat--much like a Plevna Dovetail. One of the distinguishing marks of the "Early Archaic Bevel"--as opposed to a true Lost Lake--is that the base is more like a Kirk, light grinding at best. "True" Lost Lakes, they practiced heavy basal edge grinding--are there exceptions to that? Always, lol. The steep beveled point was found in Warrick County, S.W. Indiana, it's lifetime (mine) guaranteed authentic. Questions--please feel free to ask ! I welcome payments by check, cash, or M..O., but do not use paypal--Roy A.
