The price being only $15 (and USPS base charge of $8.00 shipping)--why so low? The Dovetail is absolutely real...and the tip is absolutely guaranteed "modern rechipped" off the one side--I think the seller I got it from sanded the new chips to make them feel use-slick. The Dove has spent probably twenty years in my collection, never tried to sell it because, well, the tip. Give it as a gift to some young collector, or sent it for restoration to a professional restorer--or try the restoration yourself, a good winter project. Made of Indiana Hornstone, found in Spencer County, Indiana, the point measures 2&7/16"--it may be a few sixteenths longer once it's restored--great basal grinding, excellent left blade edge bevel on each face. I welcome checks, cash, or M.O.s, but do not use paypal type payments--Roy A.
