2&1/8" by 1&7/16", max thickness is very close to 3/8"--material is hornstone, very, very patinated hornstone, creek-found in Webster or area Kentucky county. Now--what to call it--I view the point as a Big Sandy Contracted Base, but DO see some elements of both Kirk and Thebes in the basal formation--also, the base shows "moderate" edge grinding--so does that rule out Kirks?Personally, I think so, but this authentic point is kind of a "tweener", it shows edge grinding and it doesn't show bevel sharpening--so to sum-up, that explains my Big Sandy 'typing'. Shipping is $6.00. Checks or M.O>s welcomed, but I do not use paypal--Roy A.
