A 'blue form' of Indiana Holland Flint, the Early Archaic knife found in Knox County, Indiana--2&7/8" by 1&3/8", max thickness of 3/8". The Early Archaic hunter(7500BP) may have been getting ready to basal notch the knife, there is one 'start' of a corner notch for either a Dovetail or Lost Lake--almost like a "I'll start here" mark. It may have been the very hard nature of the flint that stopped the conversion--hard flint, more of a chalcedony than a flint--you can see 'stacks' on both faces; those would have been hard to thin. I've cleaned mud off the knife, so now you can see the workmanship more easily--and see the mineral specks from so many thousands of years age--it's real, period. Shipping is $6.00, checks or M.O.s are welcomed. Sorry, I do not use paypal--Roy A,
