Found (and signed) by old Norman Reid in 1959, Edwards County, Illinois, southeast corner of the state--length is 2&13/16" by 1&3/16" with a 3/8" center thickness. The thickness of that Adena medial ridge would indicate the knife started off as a good bit wider & longer--shown on the on-edge photo you can see how fast the tip dives to a point. That alone tells me the Woodland (2500BP--2000BP) hunter really sharpened the blade, each sharpening removed a bit more flint. The patina is everywhere, so every detail is lifetime guaranteed authentic. Shipping is $6.00, with checks or M.O>s welcomed. Sorry, I do not use paypal--Roy A.
