The single thickest spot is 3/16" max--doesn't exceed that per my caliper. Very few cultures made preforms or points that thin--Jacks Reef--Knight Island, or Intrusive Mound Peoples--those Late Woodland-phasing-into-Mississippian peoples did. Length is 2&3/16" by 1&3/8"--the flint, I'm fairly sure, is Hopkinsville Chert (or also called "Saint Genevieve Chert"--lots of fossil inclusions. The finder of this piece was from Muhlenburg County, Kentucky, but spent a lot of time in neighboring Christian County--right area for the chert (distribution range). The piece has spent almost twenty years in my personal collection, it's lifetime guaranteed authentic in every detail. Shipping is $6.00, checks, cash, or M.O.s welcomed, but please note I do not take paypal on my store--Roy A.
