The pictures don't lie, one fine, fine quality Indiana Hornstone Adena2&13/16" by 1&1/4", only 5/16" thick--that translates into excellent symmetry. The knapping would do credit to some Early Archaic Period chipping--look at those blade edges, that was a highly skilled Woodland Era flintworker. Some 2000 years after the piece was made, I want to give the artisan credit. Note the stem intruded into the limestone cortex of the Harrison County, Indiana, Hornstone-made flat, ground smooth. The Adena is off the Ohio river, either Harrison County or an adjoining county--the beach hunter didn't put a tag on his find. Patina is there, it's lifetime guaranteed authentic. Shipping comes with the $49 price, and checks or M.O.s are welcomed. Sorry, I do not use paypal--Roy A.
