A Warrick or Spencer County, Indiana, MacCorkle, a banded-at-a-diagonal type of hornstone, 2&5/16" by 1&9/16"--even the thickest area (at the hafting center) never quite gets to 5/16"--thin blade. The edges are that diagonal flaking technique that produces serration. To show how the piece had been displayed by the finder--some light glue residue and fibers of green felt.--must have been a hard choice deciding which side to glue down...the quality of the knapping, either side is very presentable. As always, the glue will soak off easily, it's a waterbased glue, so it presents no problems with removal.. The point has been in one of my frames since the beginning of 2012, it's guaranteed authentic in EVERY detail. Shipping is $9.00, checks or M.O.s are the two ways to purchase the piece as I do not use paypal-type services--Roy A.
