A part of an old (small) Spencer County, Indiana, family collection, this hornstone Lost Lake is 3&1/2" by 1&9/16". The steeply beveled blade is a full 3/8", so you know (based on the sheer number of blade sharpen-and-use cycles) that the hafted knife was once both longer and wider. One barb is salvaged (from use and the sharpening process), it isn't broken, just worn-away--worn in the same way what was likely a sharp tip now shows heavy Early Archaic period use--before the knife was lost. I'll carry that same "worn" label to the ground basal edge--the knife may have been hafted several times, the basal edge slightly altered so it'd fit a handle each time. All that (wear) is part of the 100% guaranteed authentic patina. Hell of a piece, period. $7.00 is the shipping cost. Payment--you have three--and ONLY three options: cash, check, or money order. If none of those three work for you, well, thanks for looking, anyway--Roy A.
