A Gibson County, Indiana, Turkey Tail made from Indiana Hornstone (as are like 98% of authentic Turkey Tails, I've read)--slightly under 2&1/4" by 1"--only 1/4" max thickness. The family owned and hunted fields along the adjacent Wabash River, the extensive collection then went into an estate sale--old story there, the younger generation didn't have the connection to the land, everything became a 'salable asset'. Here, the Late Archaic T.T. is patinated a light brown shade--some wear on the very tip, but that also keeps the price reasonable. The point likely started as a 'twice the length' before all the 2500BP sharpening. Good point, real in every detail. Shipping is included with the price, checks or M.O.s are welcomed. Sorry, I do not use paypal-type services--Roy A.
