Larger Early Stage Pedernales
This is a gorgeous Uvalde County, Texas artifact. It is complete and full with everything there.
The material appears to be a two tone brown Edwards Chert, with some spotty patina and compositional variance. It is also translucent which highlights the fossiliferous nature of Edwards Chert.
It makes for a stunning piece of art work..
The Pedernales form was from the Middle Archaic thru the Woodland periods.
