Price includes the shipping on this St.Claire County, Illinois, flint "tool"--either a Burlington Chert form or a Mozarkite. The line across the center is a band if 'inclusion quartz', it isn't a break. Now, what'd they use it for? One end is a 'pick', the other end is like a small flint axehead, so 'pickax' is about as close as I can get on labeling the piece. If you find another name for the tool, hey, it it works for you, use it. Length is right at 4&3/4" by 2&3/16". The center thickness reaches 7/8" max thickness. Patina--it has plenty, it's guaranteed real. I welcome only payments that can be mailed to me: checks, cash, or M.O.s. Sorry,I do not accept paypal-type payments--Roy A.
