A Kirk, a Pinetree ( the longest at 2"), and a side-notch Big Sandy--even the cornernotched Kirk Dart (1&5/16" by1") shows some basal grinding, so you could even roll the cornernotch into the Palmer or Pinetree groups, basal grinding being more how they finished-out a dart point. The 1&3/8" Big Sandy seems to be a Jasper material--a worked river pebble. The longer point and the Cornernotch are the same flint, only the one, the longer point, being heat treated flint. Both seem to be Illinois flints, something like Avon Chert is my best guess as it wasn't a locally found material (unless there's a chert bed no one has reported--that happens). Good dart points, great workmanship, and a bit of wear as the pictures will show. Translation: REAL. Shipping is $7.00, checks or M.O>s are the waays I welcome payments. Sorry, that means payment services like paypal are not taken--Roy A.
