Out of Spencer County, Indiana--made from Indiana Harrison County Hornstone with a basal bit of lighter colored cortex--ex C. Keller collection; the blade is 3&9/16" by 1&11/16"--3/8" is the thickest spot my caliper can register. Now--is the piece Late Archaic Turkey Tail Culture, or is it Adena Culture? When I bought the piece a few years back I assumed Adena, but the more I study it the small basal fracturing techniques used in the cortex area make me re-think the idea that this is a Late Archaic blade, not Woodland. The differences are (sometimes) so slight it may come down to opinion--if you own it, you decide what to call it. Patina is excellent, every detail is lifetime guaranteed authentic. Shipping is $6.00, checks or M.O>s are welcomed. Sorry, I do not use paypal--Roy A.
