Shipping included on this Pike County, Indiana, Mid Archaic three-quarter groove axe--granite, 6&1/16" by 3&15/16", with 2&3/16" max thickness on the heel. The bit is intact, fairly 'crisp'. The flattened top of the 6500BP axe shows some plow scratches--they're as much a part of the history (now) as is the ancient workmanship. Surface polish is very good, and especially heavy behind the bit--while I haven't weighed the piece I'd make a guess at four lbs.
Every detail is guaranteed authentic--the plow marks, well, they are what they are--they do hold the price down, make the axe a bit more reasonable to buy. Shipping is $11--the width barely (just barely) fits in a Priority Mail package. I welcome payments that come through the U.S. Mail, checks, cash or M.O.s, but please note that paypal is not accepted--Roy A.
