Special note: The acorn is planted, hopefully becomes a "Great Oak" to replace the storm-lost great oak that once stood on that spot (almost 100' tall, 16'4" around at the 4' measurement height) Shipping comes with the price on this point out of St. Clair County, S.W. Illinois, area, one deep gold Kaolin Flint stemmed point--a "Kramer Point", Woodland Culture is how I'd classify the piece. Length is right under 2&15/16", slightly shortened as the tip was fashioned into a burin/ button hole making 'punch'. As you'd expect there is no basal edge grinding. Nice patina, and a "special note"--if you find any of the varnish this piece was coated with please understand I soaked it, I used a vegetable brush, an old stiff towel, and finally said "Enough"...so, IF you still find a spot of gloss that shouldn't be there, it's YOUR turn. I welcome any type payment that is sent through the U.S. mail, but never ever use electronic payments (like paypal)--Roy A . P.S. My Bur Oak acorn is pictured just to give the camera a bit of contrast--I plan on planting it--RAA
