At 4&13/16", there's some size to this Cobbs Triangular. Width is 1&3/16", and next to the base the thickness reaches 9/16"--the blade isn't thin until it reaches the very tip. The long knife is out of the Sullivan/ Knox County, Indiana, area, but that flint is one--because of the creek stain-like patina--is hard to classify--it has some fossil inclusions, the tan spots, and a very good gloss, so if the knife is Attica (as I suspect) it was a higher grade of Attica (Indiana Green). Usually, that flint has a coarser grain, nowhere near this much gloss, but every flint/ chert has differing grades to be found. Note the blade edges on this long, narrow Cobbs, they're very heavily used--this was a hand-held knife that saw long, hard usage...but that also tells you the piece is authentic, that's the trade-off. Shipping is $8.00, checks, cash, or money orders are the only three ways you can pay on my store (sorry, paypal users, I just don't use electronic payments)--Roy A.
