Shipping included on this pair of Ft. Ancient triangles--wish I could say they were fully intact, but the tips 'hit dinner'. Fort Ancients are, at least in the Henderson County, Kentucky, area where these were found, not at all common. Most Mississippian Culture triangles in the area are called Madison Points (and a few related point type names) and are not serrated. When you find one that IS serrated, it's significant. The longer of these is a translucent Crescent Quarry Chert (high grade Burlington Chert), 1&1/8" by almost 11/16", hardly 1/8" max thickness--part of the reason the piece is translucent, too. The second point is 13/16" in length--likely the same flint, but a more 'cherty grade' of Crescent Quarry. They're real, period. I welcome checks, cash, or M.O.s, but do not use paypall-type payment services--Roy A.
