Pictures say it all: one fine 2&5/16" by 1&1/16" Early archaic Cobbs knife/ preform knife (Cobbs were often a preform for basal notching to fashion Lost Lakes and Dovetails). Thinness is 3.5 sixteenths inch--see the on-edge pic, the blade is so thin, so well pressure knapped, it's as much art as useful knife. Part of a family collection, the piece was found by previous generations as they moved around southern Indiana's Perry and Spencer counties. The Harrison County-type Hornstone is perfectly patinated, authentic in every detail. Shipping is $48.00, and you can pay by check, cash, or money order, but please note I do not use paypal-type payment services--Roy A.
