Shipping included on this Hornstone Turkey Tail , 3&3/16" by 1&5/16", Lexington, Kentucky, area piece with some Late Archiac use to the blade (shoulder ding), and a tip that was heavily used as a burin (leather punch?)--the very tip has use dulling, something that only happen with repeated wear. The stem itself was modified to fit the handle the knife was attached to--it's not broken, it was 'fitted' to the handle. Note the shoulders, both seem to be deliberately fractured in a way, like they were made to fit, if that makes any sense--they simply don't look like work breaks (or torque fractures) from twisting the knife. Every tool was made, then refitted if it stayed in service long enough--this authentic Turkey Tail, it looks like the user 'adjusted' as he went along. Neat piece. I welcome checks or M.O.s, but do not use paypal--Roy A.
