Out of Crawford County, Illinois, along the Wabash River. The major lithic is white or heat treated Burlington, although a couple of grey hornstone made the cut. Cultures: the 'newest' is from the Mississippian bow-and-arrow triangle-type, back to the Early Archaic, some side-notch, corner notch types and a white Hardin point base (lower right). The center piece is very thin, the study-able portion of a Stilwell Point,1&9/16" by 1&3/8", hardly touches even 1/4" thickness. The pieces are real, they teach you not only how things were made, but how they broke--if anyone thinks understanding damage isn't important they're going to end up buying a lot of fakes--that's exactly what I was taught forty years back by a dealer who took the time. Unfortunately shipping is now more than the cost of the artifacts--$9 to ship them. USPS has a monopoly on small packages, and their 'zone charges' make figuring out shipping something of a headache. I welcome checks, cash (never had a problem with anyone sending cash), or M.O.s. Sorry I totally avoid paypal-type payment services--Roy A.
