The thickness barely crosses 1/8"--about what a Mississippian Triangle would measure--length is 1&3/16", and 7/8" wide--thin, thin hornstone point that was found along the Wabash River in Gibson County, Indiana. The deep cornernotching is artistry, how the Late Woodland knapper kept from breaking the long barbs or the basal corners is hard to imagine, but using a glass 'nipper' is the only equivalent I can provide--one slip, slightly too much pressure, all you would have had is flint scraps in your hands. I admire that detailed-type craftsmanship, one neat piece--and real. Shipping is $7.00 (the new USPS small package BASE charge), checks, cash, or M.O>s are welccomed--Roy A.
