The Big Sandy is out of a Spencer County, Indiana-found collection, hornstone, 3" by 13/16", barely over 1/4" in thickness. There is 'some' basal grinding, but the Early Archaic maker didn't spend much time at it--grinding, that is. A corner of the base has an ancient twist (torque) fracture, too much force on the blade forced a corner chip. The blade itself shows multiple resharpenings of the original blade size--the piece may not have been much longer to start with, but it was definitely a wider blade before all that usage--long used, patinated, authentic. The 1902 Indian Head is a 'perk' if you buy the point, nothing additional on the cost except for the $6.00 shipping. I welcome checks or money orders, but do not use paypal--Roy A.
