A small (1&1/2" by 7/8") Motley point found in an Eddyville, Kentucky, area creek half a dozen years back--material is a red & gold colored chert or a Jasper. With a 10x loop you find all the "ground-in" Patina of a creek find. On the base of one barb you'll spot a cortex material--it isn't damage, it's simply a tan colored cortex--that may indicate this piece is a chert, not a Jasper--a geologist could answer that one better than I can, I don't associate a Limestone cortex on Jasper, but then who knows? Neat piece, REAL. Shipping is $5.00, checks, cash, green stamps or M.O.s, but I do not use paypal--Roy A.
