Wide differences in Pinetrees, this Warrick County, Indiana, found piece being cornernotched, but straight-base, not rounded, and while it has some degree of serration on the lowed blade edges the serration isn't as pronounced as some heavily sharpened Pinetrees. This form, I see some of the Stilwell influences--but the base here is very well ground--Stilwell points and Kirk C.N.s, they don't have this heavy of basal edge grinding (not as heavy as a Dovetail, but it's definitely ground). Made of Indiana Harrison County Hornstone 2&3/16" by 1&1/4"--THIN, never reaching 1/4" max thickness. Always dislike mentioning it, but the barbs are end-nicked--typical Pinetree in that regard. The tip has a use polish and wear pattern to indicate it served as a burin--gouging holes in, whatever surface needed holes: leather, wood, or bone. The wear should show in the photos--you know before you decide to buy (or not)--that's the way it should be. Shipping is $5.00, checks, cash, or M.O.s welcomed. Sorry, I do not use paypal--Roy A.
