Shipping included on this Illinois creek find--Cobden Flint, it looks like, but so patinated by almost two thousand years in creeks that the color is really "bronzed"--see that small modern-made chip on one side of the rounded tip, you'll spot the dark Illinois Hornstone (Cobden) flint color. Sometimes, even modern damage, it lets you study how flint patinates. The piece was from a Jackson and Union County, Illinois-found collection--1&15/16" by a wide 1&3/4", the profile (medial ridge) not quite reaching 5/16". Balanced. Being a Hopewell Snyders point there is no basal edge dulling. Neat material, great patina, guaranteed authentic. Shipping is $6.00, checks or M.O.s welcomed. Sorry, I do not use paypal--Roy A.
