Six dart points including a decent hafted scraper and a 'preform' that looks like the Early Archiac hunter was just about to side notch--he made a few 'test flakes', but stopped for whatever reason. They come from Macon County, Illinois, Sangamon River area--no need to guess, they're all six made of Burlington Chert--several showing some heat treating, you can see the iron oxides 'brought out' by heat treating. The flint becomes more glossy as it was heat-hardened. The longest of the pieces is the Preform, 2&1/16"--the side-notched Hafted Scraper is near 1&1/4" for size reference--some basal grinding, so it was made from an Early Archaic point, Osceola or similar type. They're good pieces, lifetime guaranteed authentic. Shipping is $6.00, checks, cash, or M.O>s welcomed. Sorry, I do not use paypal--Roy A.
