One small shoulder chip away from being a G-10--it's rare to get a Jacks Reef--Intrusive Mound point so close to perfect--excellent basal corners, tip, and in this case one perfect shoulder. The point is made of Sonora Flint,1&11/16" by 1",only 1/4" max thickness. The Sonora material has some translucent areas (inclusions) that were worth back-lighting to show. As you'd expect with a Late Woodland point (right as the bow-and-arrow technology was replacing dart throwing devices), there is no basal edge grinding. The piece was boxed with points from the collection of Bill Droll, a former LEO who grew up in the Elizabethtown, Kentucky, area--being the right material for that area (Sonora), I have to assume it was found near there (it had no identification tags or numbers, as was typical of Bill's estate). The patina is 100% right, the point is lifetime guaranteed authentic. Shipping is included with the price, nothing additional, and checks or M.O.s are welcomed. Sorry, I do not use paypal--Roy A.
