A Hancock County, Kentucky riverbank find, Ohio River--the flint is Kentucky Blue Flint form of Sonora Flint, 1&13/16" by 3/4"--close enough to 1/4" to call it that. As are some Lowes, the basal edge is dulled--these were the 'last gasp' of the Hopewell Period, they were transitioning into bow-and-arrow technology--this was one of those early 'arrow points'. There was at least one sharpening of the tip, it's slightly thick right at the tip--tells me the piece started out being slightly longer. GREAT material out of the northern end of what's now Ft. Knox, the creeks there, well patinated, real. Shipping is $6.00, checks, cash, or M.O.s welcomed. Sorry I do not use paypal--Roy A>
