A Warrick County, Indiana, Early Archaic point, serrated, somewhat basally ground--I'd classify it as a much sharpened & used Stilwell, Indiana Hornstone, almost 2&9/16" by 1&1/8", sits right on 1/4" max thickness. The base is ground (not heavily, but it is ground), thinned with a flute-type flake removed from each face. Mainly on one face the parallel flaking is some excellent work, the type you associate with Early Archaic Culture. The reverse shows some larger flakes nearer the base, then very fine pressure-made flakes near the tip--tip is needle-pointed, a Stilwell trait. The point is lifetime guaranteed authentic, it's been in my personal collection for almost fifteen years. Good flint, real flint. Shipping is $6.00 and checks or M.O.s are welcomed. Sorry, I do not use paypal--Roy A.
