A frigid morning, nothing better than to pull out a box of Daviess County, Kentucky, flint, see what remains--most are Indiana Hornstone (the flint source not that many miles up the Ohio River in Leavenworth, Ind.), and then some Sonora Flint (5 or 6 pieces are Sonora, pictured separately). You'll spot a few Late Archaic (Turkey Tail), and a couple small Rivertons, a Buck Creek along with some other Woodland types--again, a separate picture, but it's the Early Archiac point type bases that are--at least to me--the most interesting to study. When you know what a 1000% real Early Archaic base looks like you can always adapt that knowledge to more complete pieces---that's how I was taught, at least. Any questions you might have, hey, send them by Email, text, or "Ask seller a question" link--I'll do my best to answer. Shipping is $11, checks, cash, money orders are the three ways I take payment. Sorry, I do not use paypal-type services--Roy A.
