If the dart isn't serrated, is it a Kirk Cornernotched dart point, or is it a Palmer--which are typically serrated--heavily serrated. Personally, I prefer to call the style a Kirk, but that's what opinions are. This 2&1/16" dart is from an old (the man was about ninety when his collection was sold) Daviess County, Owensboro, KY, area collection. Width is 15/16", and thickness tops out at 1/4"--thin point, well fashioned from a very patinated hornstone. One barb looks to have been 'sharpened away', but that's about it for damage. The base was notched slightly to fit the handle. Authentic, period. $6.00 shipping, checks or M.O>s only--Roy A.
