Out of the Union County, Illinois, area--Anna, IL--granite and measuring 4&1/8" by 1&15/16", but only 1" max thickness. While the bit is 'use dulled' , it's really well polished, and very slightly flared. The form is excellent, only on the heel do you see a 'rougher' form--and that's due to the shape of the granite river cobble the maker (Mississippian Culture, I'm supposing) began with.
