Patina, repeat that about three-times-over, a Kentucky-grade of hornstone (as opposed to Indiana hornstone that's a different type grey), slightly under 2&15/16" by 1&1/4", slightly over 5/16" at the single thickest spot--long blade to the hafted knife, and a stem that was modified a couple times as the Woodland hunter fitted it to a handle...it was always easier to remove a tiny bit of stem than to grind or carve away some super-hard deer antler--no wonder so many Adenas have stem modifications (or were made flat). The stem sides show grinding so sinew wouldn't abrade, cut through. There is a stack in the flint at the tip, that alone tells me the blade was somewhat longer before repeated sharpenings. Out of a Webster or Dixon County, Kentucky, creekbed, simply real. Shipping is $8.00 with checks or M.O.s how I get payments. Sorry, I do not use paypal-type services--Roy A.
