Okay, so the title is a backhanded way of saying the Sangamon County, Illinois, finder never bothered to clean this Burlington Chert Snyders--why present it THIS way, well, you see the piece exactly as it was found--no mystery, it's as though the point had just been found (it's out of an estate, so that's not 'technically' true). That's an authenticity I can deal with. Length is 1&5/8" by 1&7/16"--based off the really wide base I would expect the point was two--maybe even three times the present length as it was first made. Shipping is $8.00. I welcome checks, money orders--or cash, but I do not use paypal-type services--Roy A.
