Normally I'd combine a single small point with some others from the same collection, but when a piece has an outstanding feature (a bullseye)--it can stand on its own. Based on the stem, the lack of basal edge grinding, I'll classify this as either Late Archaic, or "something Woodland"--the piece was worked from a Hornstone flake, so it's partially uniface--maybe it was never longer than the present1&3/8"--or not by more than an eighth inch longer based on the tip chip. The piece was in a local collection, and placed in a frame with other points your eye get drawn to it--neat piece, real. Shipping is $7.00 (post office minimum anymore), and checks, cash, or M.O.s are welcomed. Sorry, I do not use paypal-type payment services--Roy A.
