Shipping included on this "confluence of the Illinois and Mississippi Rivers" Burlington Chert (heat treated) arrowhead. Without any trace of basal grinding --and the wide body, I'm pretty sure it was a Hopewell Snyders point, so 1500--2,000 BP. If the barbs didn't have end chips you'd see more of the 'hooked' appearance of a Snyders...but then the price would be higher. Everything depends on how a piece survived, how much wear. Sometimes, though, color along is enough to add a piece to your collection. I did. Great knapping work, 2&3/16" by 1&1/2", 5/16" max thickness. I welcome checks, cash, or M.O.s but do not use paypal-type payment services--Roy A.
