The picture doesn't lie--fine quality hornstone, fine bullseye ring centered on the blade. Now, as the piece isn't serrated I don't view it as a "Palmer", but then the basal edge shows heavy basal edge grinding. Is it a Kirk Cornernotched dart, or the related Palmer (Kirk Darts with serration)--that's strictly one's opinion, but I still lean to Kirk as serration is a pretty diagnostic trait of Palmers. The piece is out of a Vanderburgh County, Indiana, collection, area-found--measures 2&1/16" by 1" even--with a very thin profile at 1/4" max thickness in the blade center. The 7500 BP hunter salvaged one basal corner, the flakes are old, patinated. Every detail is guaranteed authentic--finders' name goes to the next owner, it has that much history even if he didn't tag any site location. Shipping is $8.00, checks or M.O>s are how I welcome payment. Sorry, I do not use paypal-type payment services--Roy A.
