A part of a Gibson County, Indiana, assembled collection, points found along the Wabash River--this Lost Lake is Indiana Hornstone, measures very close to 2&1/8" by 1&1/2"--the nicked-off barb probably would have moved the width closer to 1&5/8". The use-made ding is ancient, the same 7500BP as the point itself. The opposite side of the stem has either an bit of 'tractor damage' or a freeze-thaw pop out--to my 'take' the patina on the pair of flake-offs looks like the base was struck by a farm implement--modern damage, that is. Beveled edges are excellent, tip is in decent (but not quite perfect) condition--the point is real, period. Shipping is $8.00, checks, cash, or M.O.s, payments coming through the U.S. Mail system are the only ways I take payment--Roy A.
