Heft--this is one of the more dense forms of Granite I've come across--5&3/8" by just under 2&5/8", close to 1&1/4" max thickness. The Woodland artifact comes from Daviess County, Indiana, the piece of granite (most likely) off the White River--rivers (here) are about the only place you find glacial till. Hold this celt under a light source and the quartz & Mica sparkle like Christmas lights--quartz, in particular, is what gives the stone it's weight. A focus on the bit and you get an idea how much polish, how many hours of grinding it took to make a 'crisp' bit. Impressive work. The variegated color of the stone doesn't hurt, either--every detail is lifetime guaranteed authentic. Shipping is $11, Priority Mail with a lot of packing. I welcome checks or M.O.s, but please note I do not use paypal on my store--Roy A.
