Three points from a collection that was found along the Cumberland River, Monroe County, Kentucky, a Table Rock, a Kirk Stemmed (nice point), and a big-thick stemmed point--anything stemmed, hard to classify as a definite point type, I tend to scrunch into "Late Archaic" category--point styles were phasing into Woodland classifications, and some stemmed pieces are too hard to squeeze into a "here's what it is". This one is actually the best flint of the group, actually looks like a grade of Paoli (Carter Cave)--2&9/16"--the other points I'd expect are grades of Boyle Chert based on the fossil inclusions seen in the flint. All three are real, period. Shipping is $7.00 due to the latest USPS rate increase. I welcome checks, cash, or M.O.s, but do not use paypal-type payment services--Roy A.
