A couple weeks back I was asked if I could put together a 'frame worth' of white Madisons (Mississippian bow-and-arrow points)--yeah, possible, but by the time I took inventory I realized that keeping the provenance of "three from this frame, six from this other frame, two from here, a few from there", the notes I'd have to make (and pictures to make sure the pieces were correctly slotted) it was more work (time) than I had...so, I picked out a bag of Madison war points from Henderson, Kentucky. They're all from the same area sites along the nearby Ohio River--(25) in all; grey Hornstone: white Burlington; pink/ red heat treated Burlington, the "big fellow" (1&3/8") of a black-and grey flint, a couple that are likely river pebble Jasper, and one translucent point that is either Indiana Holland Flint or it's cousin-flint from Hancock County, Kentucky (shown with the black point that's the SAME flint, only black)---well, there you have the twenty-five, all lifetime guaranteed real.
