A Hornstone (with fossil inclusions) Cobbs Early archaic knife/ preform from Posey County, Indiana. The knife has spent the last twenty years in my collection. Length is right at 3&1/2" by 1&5/8", a thin blade at 5/16" max thickness--there is hardly a chip out of place, simply no observable damage I've found. The edges show sufficient bevel to indicate any number of Early Archaic-made sharpenings of the blade, fine pressure chipping. Every detail is guaranteed authentic, simply excellent patina. Shipping is $6.00, checks or M.O>s are welcomed. Please note, though, that my store does not use paypal--Roy A.
