A very well made dart from the Early archaic Big Sandy Culture, 1&3/4" by 7/8'--fairly thin at only 1/4". The blade edges show some of the smallest serrations, much like the Stilwell points, they're so small--fine, fine work there. The basal edge has super heavy basal edge grinding--the hunter went to the "heavier is better" in terms of the edge grinding--and every detail is patinated out, it's all ancient. A S.W. Indiana framed-up point, I still haven't determined what the flint might be--or, is it a Jasper (river cobble material)--that's what I suspect. Good piece, real. Shipping is $6.00, checks, cash, or money orders. Sorry, I do not use paypal--Roy A.
