A friend has been working on his restoration skills, built a new tip on this Indiana Holland Flint point--there is NO basal grinding, so I'm assuming the piece is a Kirk Culture artifact, not a Lost Lake--then again, it might have broken before it was fully completed by a Lost Lake knapper--that'd explain the fact that the base isn't ground--measures 1&13/16", and approximately 1" of the tip is restored (an angled ancient break). Backlighted, you can see the quality of the flint. Hey, Ii grew up finding this flint in the fields, so it's my first choice of flints--more like an Ohio Flint Ridge Fling than any other flint, but comes from Spencer County, S.W. Indiana. $5 shipping, checks or M.O>s welcomed. Sorry, I do not use paypal--Roy A.
