Found by a Kentucky hunter who moved here to my home state--Indiana. Now whether he found the piece in Carroll County, Indiana, or somewhere along the Cumberland River in Kentucky, that I'd have no way other than "Where is this flint native?" to answer--I suspect somewhere along Beaver Creek in S.E. Kentucky--just looking at that glossy blue flint--some Sonora Flint variety, I'd judge. Big Snyders, 2&13/16" by 1&7/8", a full 7/16" thickness--the Hopewell salvaged a corner of the base, used that tip for more of a 'scraper' than as a jabbing knifepoint--this was a tool, they used that way.Neat piece, patinated and guaranteed authentic. Shipping is $6.00 with checks or M.O>s (or cash) welcomed. Sorry, I do not use paypal--Roy A.
