Auction pictures, the piece sure looked like a creek find. I picked the piece up from the auction center, did an "Oh, well..." If you're not familiar with the stone it's called Mahogany Obsidian--the name kind of speaks for itself. Someone, could be two years ago, could be a couple decades ago, knapped a uniface flake, notched the base of this volcanic glass. Poor (deliberately???) auction pictures, fooled me--you see the like on some auction, you pick up on the gloss of the material, you'll know what you're seeing. $6.00 shipping, checks, cash, or M.O.s only (I don't use paypal)--Roy A.
