A nice frame of Great Basin Arrowheads & Knives. This frame is one of four frames found at the Lower Towal site located on the Washington side of the Columbia river opposite the mouth of the John Day river on the Oregon side. The site is now under water due to the construction of the Dams on the Columbia. They were found in 1967. Frame contains 39 arrowheads & knives, 4 trade beads found elsewhere, 4 dentalium found elsewhere, 7 shell beads, & 2 wooden Awl tips. Types represented in this frame are Northern Side Notch, Western Stemmed, Cascade, Elko, Elko Eared, Triangular, 2 Drills, Rose Springs & Dagger points. These points are not glued in place I will make every effort to make sure the stay in place during shipping but some settling will occur.
