I pay the shipping, no additional costs on this Gibson County, Indiana, area Lost Lake--the frame was marked as "Gibson County" which is almost 500 sq mi, several rivers, more sites than any single person would begin to know--the material (Indiana Hornstone) is correct, the way the Lost Lake is made (bevel sharpening and basal grinding) are correct. Like so many Lost Lakes from the Early Archaic period one barb is missing--ancient damage. Likewise, an ancient (use made) fragment of the stem on the intact-barb side is fractured--not major damage, but the piece, the hafted knife, was obviously used quite a bit. Length is just under 2&1/8" by 1&1/2", 5/8" max thickness--balanced, the 7500BP knapper fashioned a biface preform, notched and sharpened it as needed. Note there is VERY slight wear on the tip--it's minor wear, but I'd rather mention it up-front, no one wants to unwrap a "well, dang" surprise. Every detail is lifetime guaranteed authentic. Checks or M.O.s are welcomed. Please note--my store does not use paypal--Roy A.
