The basal grinding is heavy, a dead give-away the piece is Early Archaic Cultural made, but because the piece was sharpened so many times it has an almost 'beveled look'; maybe that was unintentional--you can't 'force' a point to be a Dovetail if it isn't a Dovetail. Myself, I'm certain the piece is Sonora Flint, and was a Kentucky point that didn't get a nametag from the last owner (Illinois collection)--if I classify it as an Early Archaic Bevel, that's as close as my study will allow. With the level of basal edge grinding, the flint, that limits where the 1&5/8" point might come from--Louisville--Lexington, anywhere where Sonora is found.. Guaranteed authentic, period. Shipping is $6.00 with checks, cash, or M.O.s, but I do not use paypal--sorry--Roy A.
